Dr. Sonia Acosta

Dr. Sonia Acosta is the President and CEO of Centro Multicultural La Familia (CMLF). CMLF's mission is to provide culturally affirming support services to community members in a holistic approach to improve their quality of life.

In 2007, she founded CMLF to provide a broader array of services and serve a multicultural community. CMLF services over 5,000 individuals clients per year and reaches over 12,000 listeners daily through its radio streaming program. Dr. Acosta is a fully licensed psychologist with 38 years of experience in the fields of mental health, substance abuse and domestic violence.
