Captain Melissa McClellanCaptain Melissa McClellan is the Commander of the Corrective Services Main Division. The Corrective Services Division admits approximately 12,000 new arrests into the Oakland County Jail. She joined Oakland County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) in 1989 and became OCSO's first female Captain.

Captain McClellan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Project Management. She is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Police Executives and New Chiefs School, Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command, and National Jail Leadership Command Academy. Captain McClellan is a member of various associations including the National Sheriffs Association, Michigan Sheriffs Association, and American Jail Association.

She has received numerous honors including:
