Family Fun and Resource Expo

Thank you to everyone who attended our Health and Housing Summer Fest on Tuesday, August 5 at Normandy Oaks Park! With 603 people in attendance, it was the largest Health and Housing Summer Fest to date.

Along with our partners, we were able to provide services and resources to families.

• 456 backpacks with school supplies
• 200 locking medication bags
• 150 locking boxes
• 101 vision screenings and 40 pairs of glasses for youth through Vision to Learn
• 50 hearing screenings through University of Michigan
• 23 kindergarten dental screenings
• 25 vaccinations
• 20 haircuts/styles and 70 manicures for children through Dorsey School of Beauty
