Important Campaign Finance Requirements

Effective Immediately

Public Act 119 of 2017 has reinstated the filing of Annual Campaign Statements.

An Annual Campaign Statement is not required of:

  • A committee that filed a Post-General Election Statement in December.
  • A Committee with a Reporting Waiver.
  • An officeholder whose salary is less than $100.00 a month and whose committee has had no activity (receipts or expenditures) during the period covered by the Annual Statement. Must file letter stating the above.

Late Contribution Form

Committees that have filed for and maintained the $1,000.00 Reporting Waiver are not required to file Campaign Statements. The reporting waiver does not waive the 48 Hour/Late Contribution Reports.

Campaign Statements due by 5:00 pm.
