Lisa Brown, Oakland County Clerk/Register, Delivers Services to Orion Township at Senior Living Expo - Local Office Visit Scheduled for August 24

July 28, Pontiac, MI - Oakland County Clerk/Register of Deeds Lisa Brown will bring the services of her office to Orion Township on Wednesday, August 24, as part of the 2016 Senior Living Expo, through the popular Local Office Visit program. A wide range of services will be available at the following location:

  • Orion Center, 1335 Joslyn Rd, Lake Orion, from 11:00AM-3:00PM

"Our goal is to make it easier and more convenient to do business with Oakland County, which is why we bring our services to local communities," Brown said. "People are busy in their everyday lives, and they don't always have time to visit our office in Pontiac to get the documents or records they need. Bringing our services directly to Oakland County residents in their home towns makes it easier for everyone, especially when we can be a part of a large community event, like the Senior Living Expo."

The following records and services are available at no extra charge at all Local Office Visits:

  • Copies of birth, death and marriage certificates
  • Marriage license applications
  • Copies of deeds, mortgages, liens and other property documents
  • Business registration or renewals, as well as access to Oakland County's Assumed Business Name and Co-Partnership database
  • Copies of Oakland County Circuit Court documents, including divorce records
  • Voter registration and absentee voter applications
  • Notary public applications
  • Concealed pistol license renewals
  • Sign up for our free Property Records Notification (PRN) system

Residents from surrounding communities are encouraged to attend. Visit www.oakgov.com/clerkrod or call 248-858-0561 for additional dates and updated information. Details are also available online for identification requirements and copy fees, which are the same as those in the main office.
