As of May 1, 2017, Oakland County's eFiling is now hosted by Tyler Odyssey eFile & Serve at
https://michigan.tylerhost.net where court documents of the 6th Judicial Circuit Court shall be eFiled.
Tyler Odyssey eFile & Serve requires an administrator to create each firm. The administrator is responsible for inviting attorneys and staff to join the firm. Self-represented filers can also register. Instructions are available on the site listed above.
Training and support for Tyler Odyssey eFile & Serve is available
online via teleconference.
COMING SOON!! – Statewide eFiling, known as MiFILE, powered by TrueFiling, will be implemented in participating pilot Michigan Courts. The 6th Judicial Circuit Court will move to MiFILE in early December, the proposed go-live date is scheduled for December 4, 2017.
TrueFiling is currently available for user registration at
www.truefiling.com and user information will be imported to the MiFILE application automatically. Current TrueFiling users do not need to register again. However, service contacts and payment accounts should not be added at this time. Information on when to add service contacts and payment accounts will be provided as soon as possible prior to go-live. More information regarding MiFILE is available through our

Notice of Mandatory eFiling/Quick Tips - for Tyler Odyssey eFile & Serve
- eFiling Fees:
- Effective January 1, 2016, the eFiling fees for the eFiling program will be reduced to $5.00 for eFile and Serve, and $2.50 for eFile Only/Service Only, pursuant to HB 5029.
- Effective with the implementation of the new State's eFiling program (proposed go-live on 12/4/17), there are no fees for eFiling or service. Statutory fees will be subject to credit card fees, not to exceed 3%.
- Pursuant to
Administrative Order 2007-3 mandatory eFiling (including case initiation) is required on all "A", "C", "P" and "N" case types.
- Pursuant to
Administrative Order 2010-3 mandatory eFiling (after case initiation) is required on all DO case types.
- Extension of eFiling:
Amendment of Administrative Orders 2007-3 and 2010-3.

Oakland County Clerk's E-Services Center, located in the courthouse next to the County Clerk's Office.
All praecipes on eFiling cases must be submitted through the Oakland County
ePraecipe application. Hearings will no longer be scheduled if the praecipes are submitted through the eFiling program as part of a pleading. A tutorial on how to use ePraecipe application is available and there is no fee to file a praecipe in this manner.
