The Retirement and Deferred Compensation Board was established pursuant to Michigan Compiled Law, MCL 46.12a. RDCB members are responsible for administering the retirement plan adopted by the County to pay pension and retirement benefits to eligible retirees.
The Commission consists of the County Executive or designee, the County Treasurer or designee, the Chair of the Board of Commissioners, the Chair of the BOC Finance Committee, a citizen representative appointed by the Retirement Commission Board and confirmed by the Board of Commissioners, and three (3) elected employee members.
Members serve a 4-year term. Monthly committee meetings are held at the Executive Office Building, in the County Executive's Conference Room.
