The Boeing B-24 Liberator "Diamond Lil," will visit Oakland County International Airport July 8-11, 2021. It will be joined by a T-6 Texan, a PT-13 Stearman, and a P-51 Mustang.
With paid admission to the terminal ramp, visitors will experience the sights, smells and sounds of historic World War II aircraft.
Visitors will have the opportunity to:
- Get up close & touch the aircraft
- Tour the cockpit
- Talk to the crews
- Teach the younger generations
- See the planes FLY

Coming to Oakland County International Airport
The B-24 Liberator,
Diamond Lil will be making her first visit to PTK since the early 1990's. She will be accompanied by a T-6 Texan, PT-13 Boeing Stearman & a P-51 Mustang. Except for the P-51, all aircraft will arrive on Tuesday, July 6 around noon. The P-51 will arrive on Friday, July 9 at noon.
Rides are available for purchase on all aircraft. Unfortunately, all of the seats on Diamond Lil are sold out. Rides on the other aircraft can be booked in-advance of the visit by visiting the
CAF Air Power History Tour website.

FiFi, the B-29 Superfortress, will be available for rides only at Willow Run Airport. Cockpit tours & ramp access will not be available at this location.
