Oakland County’s Local Gem Sweepstake has ended

Genisys Credit Union sponsored the Local Gem Sweepstake prize money.

A small business is defined for this program as an independently owned and operated, legal, brick and mortar business. Each business you submit must be different.

INTRODUCTION

Utilize Oakland County’s Small Business Saturday Campaign to build visibility and foot traffic for your business during the holiday shopping season.

ENTER YOUR BUSINESS INTO “LOCAL GEMS” SWEEPSTAKE

You can submit a selfie taken at your Oakland County small business and complete an Entry Form for the “Local Gems” Sweepstake.

1st Prize: $1,000 | 2nd Prize: $500

SWEEPSTAKE DEADLINE: November 26, 2022

You can only enter your business one time. However, the closer to November 1 that you enter, the more promotional exposure you will receive from the county, including mention on OakGov.com/ShopSmall.

Original photo should be of the inside or outside of your small business in Oakland County—or a special product you are promoting.
A small business is defined for this program as an independently owned and operated, legal, brick and mortar business.
A person does not have to be in the photo.
Sweepstake participants must be 18 years or older at the time of entry deadline.

The sweepstake ends on Small Business Saturday, 11:59 PM ET, November 26, 2022.

Winners are determined by a random drawing and notified by December 5, 2002. The check is presented at an in-person event on December 15, 2022.

Genisys Credit Union is sponsoring the sweepstake and providing the prize money.

Display the Sweepstake Cards and Poster at your business. Let your friends, relatives, and customers know they can submit a selfie taken at your Oakland County small business, complete an Entry Form for the “Local Gems” Sweepstake, and have a good chance at winning as much as $1,000.

Each person can enter your business in the sweepstake one time. However, with each different business they submit, they increase their odds of winning.
