Troy resident Hallie Armstrong received her undergraduate graduate from Michigan State University and her Naturopathic Medical degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.
She practices naturopathic medicine and is the lead naturopathic doctor at Beaumont Health System. She focuses on Integrative Family Practice helping patients from day-old babies to end of life care. She believes in a team-based approach to wellness collaborating regularly with all members of a patient's health care team.
She is an Adjunct Instructor in the family medicine department at the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and heads the student and resident rotation program in the Integrative Medicine Department. She also teaches at Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield.
Dr. Armstrong is president of the Michigan Chapter of the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, an organization dedicated to engaging a global community of health professionals and health seekers in innovative education, and interprofessional collaboration, to promote health and well-being universally.
She is a Girl Scout troop leader for her 7-year-old daughter's Daisy group, is married and has a 5-year-old son. She enjoys doing sprint triathlons, traveling and hiking with her family in her spare time.
