Kathleen Logan is a U.S. Army veteran.
After returning home to Michigan in 2009 she served in the Army Reserves then
transitioned to the Michigan National Guard. Logan is the regional coordinator
for Michigan veterans’ affairs, connecting service men and women and their
families to services and benefits throughout the state. Logan excels in
developing strategies and creating solutions by promoting opportunities for
regional collaboration and place making. One of these solutions was the
formation of a Veteran Community Action Team (VCAT). She spearheads a statewide
program to benefit nearly 50,000 women veterans across the state. Logan recently
assisted with a congressional bill to give female veterans better access to
quality health care.
served as a board member and veteran representative to the Women's Alliance of
Oakland County since 2013. She serves on the VCAT Advisory Board for Region 6,
servicing seven counties in eastern Michigan.
She has been honored as an emerging leader at the Governor's Economic
Summit and named the Exceptional Student Leader of the Year by Oakland Community
College. She received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Central
