Clarence Dass is an assistant prosecutor in the Oakland County Prosecutor's Office and the youngest assistant appointed to the Special Victims Section. He was selected by the State Bar of Michigan-Young Lawyers Division as one of 12 attorneys to be admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court. He was recognized by the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association as the "One to Watch," an award given annually to an attorney who has contributed significantly to the legal profession and has demonstrated the potential for future contributions. Dass is a member of various organizations including the Oakland County Coordinating Council Against Domestic Violence. He advocates for victims of domestic violence, organizes legal seminars for professionals in the field and works with agencies to provide resources to victims. As an Oakland County S.A.V.E. task force member, he works with elderly crime victims, assists families in understanding the legal process, and works to provide restitution for victims. Dass serves in other organizations including Oakland County's Child Death Review Panel and the Chaldean American Bar Association. He received his bachelor's degree from Wayne State University and his juris doctorate from Ohio State University.
