President and CEO
Alison Orlans is
president and CEO of Orlans Group, a Michigan-based law firm serving the real
estate financial industry. She directs the strategic business planning for the
firm’s seven group companies. The firm has received recognition for its professional
achievements including certification from the National Women’s Business
Enterprise Counsel as a Women’s Business Enterprise. Other awards include the
USFN America’s Mortgage Banking Attorneys prestigious Diamond Award of
Excellence. Orlans serves as membership chair and executive committee member of
the Young Presidents Organization. She is a development committee member at the
Coalition on Temporary Shelter and on the board of directors at the Founders
Junior Counsel with the Detroit Institute of Arts. She is the firm’s corporate
ambassador for Winning Futures and Gleaners Community Food Bank. She received
her undergrad degree from the University of Michigan and her law degree from
the University of the North Carolina School of Law - Chapel Hill.
