Takisha is the director of internal audit and risk management at Henry Ford- HAP where she developed, implemented and managed domestic and international security compliance programs. In her career she saved organizations tens of millions of dollars in non-compliance fees and millions of dollars in cost reduction. Takisha has established security and risk management programs all over the world that have led to the protection of personal information for millions of people.
Takisha is co-chair, Common Security Framework and committee member on the Michigan Healthcare Cyber Security Council. She works alongside them to make sure the personal information of millions of citizens are safe when they need access to medical care or financial services. She has supported various community and leadership programs including speaking at career day, supporting women in technology events by spending time with grade school girls discussing the advantages of careers in technology. She is a personal mentor for a number of young professionals, a tutor for at risk children in reading, math and science and has been a guest speaker at Macomb Community College. She has volunteered with and supported a program called Lads to Leaders which teaches Godly leadership skills to youth.
Takisha received her bachelor’s degree from Oakland University and her master’s from Walsh College. She scored in the top 10 percent of all exam candidates for ISACA's prestigious Certified in Risk and Information Systems and Controls.
