Director of Practice Growth
Jessica is a director of practice growth for the governmental services team of Rehmann, where she brings over 15 years of experience in accounting, finance and strategic development. As a senior manager, she is the director for five offices and serves as a resource for the company’s governmental consulting services. She is a frequent presenter for campus recruitment, a part of Rehmann's Gen Y Council, and recently asked to assist the firm in implementing a firm wide diversity initiative.
Jessica’s passions led her to a role in public service. She was elected to the Birmingham Board of Education for a four-year term. She is a part of the Fiscal Leadership Collaborative program with Michigan Association of Schools Board, which is designed to help school system leaders of distressed districts build the knowledge and capacity to handle budget deficits.
Driving on inspiration from her daughter, Jessica has dedicated her time to various causes such as teenage pregnancy, childhood literacy, mentorship, promoting the value of diversity and career coach to the various consultants that have worked for her throughout her career. She has been part of Beyond Basics, the Birmingham Education Foundation, and has spent countless hours volunteering her time to give back to her community. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics and management from Albion College in 2003.
