Brian Olatunji CEO and president of Leadfoot Motorsports, a motor sports marketing company he started when he was a 19-year-old sophomore at Kettering University in Flint. Brian oversees each phase of the business: sales, accounting, marketing, creative, engineering and race team management.
Brian's passion is car racing. He is the lead race car driver for Leadfoot and competed for more than 15 years on the National Hot Rod Association drag racing circuit during which time he represented sponsors Pepsi and the U.S. Army throughout the country.
Brian was featured in a 10-episode national TV series, "Dreams of Champions," shown on the SPEED/Fox Sports 1 network which chronicled his quest to for racing stardom.
His passion extends beyond racing to working to improve the community. His Leadfoot Foundation is a non-profit that has provided free school supplies to more than 1,100 Detroit schools students. Brian is also vice president of the 100 Black Me of Greater Detroit and led the organization's Project Success program, which sought to increase the graduation rate of black male at Detroit Southeastern High School by 10 percent. When the program began, the graduation rate was 38 percent. The first full class exposed to the program graduated at a 93 percent rate.
Brian was a member of the Crain's Detroit Business Twenty in their Twenties Class of 2012 and was named Kettering University's Alumni Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011.
