For many years, Thomas has been an active leader in Oakland County's growing medical industry. He manages 30 people and oversees over 500 colleagues at two hospitals in Oakland County. He assisted in the development and opening of two new centers, the $14 million radiation oncology center at Beaumont Troy Hospital, and the $2.75 million Breast Care Center at Beaumont West Bloomfield.
As vice president, Thomas worked with Beaumont's legal team and the U.S. Attorney General's office to set up a process to assist patients seeking cancer care, ensuring that they are seen in a timely manner and with the latest in medical innovation.
Thomas earned fellowship accreditation through the American College of Healthcare Executives in 2013, and was recognized in 2012 with Beaumont's CEO President Award Rising Star Leader in 2012. He was a finance committee member for Leadership Oakland from 2011-2013, and is a board member of the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce.
