With the recent changes in health care in the United States, Michael quickly became the go-to person for Affordable Care Act laws as they applied to specific projects at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. As a senior analyst, Michael assisted in creating an instructional guide for BCBS groups to help them understand the new documentation and avoid miscommunication to employees. He was propelled into a managerial position at BCBS after only eight months, and has continued to grow within the organization.
Outside of the office, Michael serves as chairman for the city of Southfield's Total Living Commission, where he works to improve the quality of life for residents by finding ways to inform them about important community information.
Michael is a board member of the Hebrew Benevolent Society and is a board member at the Akiva Hebrew Day School.
