Vice President, Development, Alumni, and Community Engagement
Eric works hard to ensure that OU students receive access to a great education at an extraordinary value. His team provides philanthropic support from alumni and donors that secure scholarships and endowments so that students can continue their education and contribute to the economic growth of our region.
In his three years at OU, Eric’s team has closed more $1 million-plus gifts and pledges than in the previous decade combined. In two years, pledges have tripled from $6 million to $18 million and cash received has more than doubled. Students aren’t the only ones benefiting. Eric’s team also ensures that faculty members receive fellowships and endowments, and extend OU’s mission of community engagement by supporting the OU student organic farm and The HealthPlus Brooksie Way Half Marathon.
Eric is president of the Northville Educational Foundation, a nonprofit which has provided more than $2 million in philanthropic support to the Northville Public Schools since 2009. He serves as director of the Pontiac Promise Zone, which awards scholarships to area students and, after receiving a grant from the Michigan College Access Network, will provide high school and college transition assistance to Pontiac area students.
