As a teacher, Christina demonstrates the excellence needed to drive today’s youth. She has brought students together for unique opportunities outside of the classroom, including a trip to Lansing to testify in support of Patriot Week before a Michigan Senate committee. While there, students wrote letters and addressed the committee, in hopes of making an impact for other children.

In 2012, Christina received the Lloyd Reuss Award for Teaching Excellence from the Society of Automotive Engineers International, which recognizes one elementary school teacher that further develops the understanding and experiences in math and science to their students.

Christina was recognized in 2012 as being one of the Top 5 Teachers in Metro Detroit by Metro Parent Magazine, and in 2013 her second grade class was recognized by Donald Trump and David Trott for their Character in Leadership writing at the Oakland County GOP Lincoln Dinner.
