w3r Consulting brands itself as a company driving change in the world of information technology and that drive comes from Eric A. Hardy, President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hardy is responsible for overseeing the organization's daily operations and envisions revenues of $100 million over the next 3-5 years. His vision is to make growth happen in all markets in the ever-changing world of technology with w3r on the forefront delivering unique business solutions.
Mr. Hardy's greatest professional job achievement relates to the successful design and architecture of core operational components of the w3r "505 plan" a $50MM growth strategy. This plan is designed to grow top line corporate revenue by ten times in a five year period. The basis of this model is structured around overlapping growth in five different geographic territories. To accomplish this goal Eric, along with his partners, relied on classic business fundamentals to develop the "505 operational readiness plan". This readiness plan was developed to address financial and operation growth challenges in four key areas; Sales, recruiting, administrative infrastructure and marketing. Detailed analysis was conducted and used to create compensation models with completive commission structures and repeatable templates for office germination and build out.
Any aggressive growth strategy has a built in acceptable risk assessment, and this plan is no different. Each of the four key areas was evaluated for its financial impact and addressed accordingly. Cash flow dictates that the infrastructure investment be balanced against; gross margin improvements, expense reduction, shared service consolidation and creatively effective marketing strategies for each local market.
The plan continues to iterate and has proven to be the nucleus of growth as the organization moves into its fourth year of the plan. The company has grown an impressive 400% over the past four years, creating more than 1,200 job opportunities.
With more than 17 years experience in technical delivery, architecture design and project management, Mr. Hardy's strong business skills have helped create one of the fastest growing Consulting Firms in the Midwest with offices outside southeastern Michigan in Chicago, Columbus, Dallas and Washington, D.C. w3r is in a select group of tech firms in the Detroit metro area owned and operated by African Americans.
