Jeffrey Schostak graduated from Cranbrook Kingswood in 2001 and received his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in 2005 in General Studies and a Business Certificate.
Jeff worked for Urban Retail Properties, a commercial real estate development and management firm headquartered in Chicago, from summer 2005 until fall 2010. Jeff focused on retail leasing and acquisitions; where he was responsible for securing a portfolio of retail real estate for the company valued at nearly $150M. Mr. Schostak has experience in planning events, notably helping to raise money for Sen. John McCain’s presidential run as well as helping to elect Republican U.S. Senator Mark Kirk to the seat formerly occupied by Barack Obama.
He returned to Michigan in the fall of 2010, and became the first member of the fourth generation of his family to join Schostak Brothers & Company Inc, where he is the Director of Corporate Real Estate Services. Jeff is currently a Detroit Historical Society Trustee, Mitten Men member, and an active participant in the Emerging Jewish Leaders conversations with Governor Snyder.
