About the Service Center

Oakland County Information Technology (OCIT) operates a Service Center (Help Desk) providing assistance to all Information Technology customers.  This includes Incidents (break/fix) that customers may experience or simply questions a user may have regarding a software application.  

Access Oakland Business Account Customers may report Incidents by either using the self-service, online module or calling the Service Center.  If a user uses the self-service online module, the user creates the Incident in the Service Center system.  If a user calls the Service Center, the Service Center Agents (SCA) will record the Incident in the Service Center system.  Regardless of the reporting method, customers will be able to log into the Service Center system at any time to check status of their request or incident.  The Service Center will be the single point-of-contact for OCIT customers and will be used to document all customer service requests and communicate service request status with OCIT customers.

Customers with requests for Change Orders (new services) e.g. software, connections, access to applications, etc. should place these requests directly with their OCIT Representative.
