Dedicating his life to removing economic, racial and social barriers and creating access and opportunities for individuals in Pontiac and Oakland County, Kermit Williams is both a public servant and non-profit Director.

He's the Executive Director of Oakland Forward, a local non-profit that works with community partners to build opportunities for residents. He was a Pontiac City Council member and served as the Council President.

Williams is also co-Director of the Pontiac Policy Action fund and was a community outreach specialist for Honor Community Health. He is an elder at the New Mount Moriah International Church in Pontiac and is a board member of the High Place Community Outreach and the Pontiac Youth Assistance.

He earned a bachelor's degree from Siena Heights University in Adrian and a nonprofit management certificate from Oakland University. He lives in Pontiac.
