With a passion for her community, Kelly Westbrook saw the potential in Oxford and began her job as the Executive Director of the Oxford Downtown Development Authority with a mission to rebuild.

Since starting in January 2021, she helped kick off a new Farmer's Market in town, gave 10 grants to fix run-down buildings, installed a street speaker system and collaborated with local businesses to come together and form a stronger sense of community.

Before her new role, she worked for several sports organizations, including NASCAR and the Detroit Pistons. She also participated in the Miss America program, finishing as runner-up in the Miss Michigan competition, leading to her helping run county pageant program for two years. After multiple surgeries and the loss of her colon, she also has become an advocate and public speaker for people who are encountering the same surgeries.

Westbrook received a bachelor's degree from Oakland University and is a volunteer for the Children's Miracle Network and the SCC Speedway Children's Charity. She Lives in Metamora with her husband and two children.
