As the Administrator for Public Health for Oakland County, Sara Stoddard has worked to expand services to county residents and remove barriers to access to health care.

In her role, she has worked closely with community partners to expand the county's Health 360 model, which provides both health care and wraparound services for residents who need help navigating bureaucracy to gain access to things like food, housing and help with insurance.

Stoddard also coordinated outreach during the COVID pandemic, partnering with organizations and communities to set up and run testing and vaccine clinics that reached hundreds of thousands of residents.

Before her current position, Stoddard worked in emergency preparedness, including six years as Chief of Homeland Security.

She received bachelor's and master's degrees from Central Michigan University. Stoddard is a member of the Michigan State Police Emergency Management and Homeland Security. She lives in Clarkston.
