Senior Vice President & Chief Research Officer
Metro Detroit Youth Clubs

As the Senior Vice President and Chief Research Officer for the Metro Detroit Youth Clubs in Royal Oak, Anthony Marin was on the front lines of providing services to youth and examining children's health and vaccination rates during an unprecedented public health crisis. He was selected to lead the "Healthy Michigan Today" program, a two-year statewide grant funded by the Michigan Health Endowment Fund. His group's study revealed one of the first signs of lagging vaccination rates among children, especially in minority communities.

Before returning to Michigan in 2015, Marin was a senior advisor to Los Angeles city councilman Mike Bonin and worked to help modernize the Los Angeles Fire Department.

With bachelor's and MBA degrees from Oakland University and a doctorate from Capella University, Marin most recently has been working to open the Youth Club's newest center, the Levin Comer Club in Detroit. He also leads a new initiative – Degrees of Opportunity Program – which supports the goal of 100 percent graduation rates from college by BIPOC students.

Marin is a published author and an ultra-runner. He lives in Rochester.
