Swearing an oath to protect life and property for those who are experiencing the worst day of their life is a calling for Kyle Hagan, one of the youngest Lieutenants in the Orion Township Fire Department.

He is also a team leader for the Oakland County Hazardous Materials Response Team, is a part of the official COVID-19 Response team and was awarded Fire Fighter of the Year in 2014.

As a trustee for the Orion Township Fire Fighters Association, Hagan teaches multiple CPR courses for the community and volunteers for the charitable work done by the association.

He received a bachelor's degree from Oakland University and a master's degree from Arizona State University. He lives in Oxford.
