Best known for community service, advocacy and volunteerism, Elizabeth Crenshaw combines a career as a Senior Community Engagement Specialist with Molina Healthcare of Michigan with a health-based small business – Yaktown Yoga in Pontiac

With Molina Healthcare, she manages health-related initiatives, health educational/equity training, and curates outreach programs. With Yaktown Yoga, Crenshaw is bringing yoga and wellness services into underserved communities.

Before her work in community engagement, Crenshaw attended the Specs Howard School of Media and Broadcasting and was a local news anchor and reporter. After graduating from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in engineering, she worked as a production supervisor for Pepsi Bottling Group and as a Quality Engineer in the automotive industry.

She is an active member of the community, serving on the boards of Kids Standard, the Micah 6 Community Project in Pontiac, The Bridging the Gap Leadership Team, The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Maternal Infant Health Action Committee, Health and Wellness Collaborative for Pontiac Reads!, the Healthy Pontiac We Can! Coalition.

In addition to her bachelor's degree from MSU, Crenshaw earned a Master's Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Oakland University.

Outside of work and community activities, she coaches track and field and basketball and lives in Pontiac.
