Saint Joseph Mercy Oakland

As the Community Health Director at Saint Joseph Mercy Oakland, David Bowman has been assessing the health needs of Oakland residents for the past six years. He also was the Community Outreach and Volunteer Services coordinator for McLaren Oakland. He developed Community Needs Assessments for both Saint Joseph and McLaren.

In addition to his work in the health field, Bowman has been an active member of the community, serving as an Oakland County Commissioner, a constituent service director in the Michigan House of Representatives and a board member of the Pontiac Creative Arts Center. He's also been an active participant in the Kids First Initiative.

He earned a bachelor's degree from Florida State University and a masters in public administration from Wayne State University.

He lives in Sylvan Lake with his wife Mellissa Williams-Bowman.
