Employers, lawyers, diversity and wellness are the mantras for Mary Aretha in her career as an employment and professional liability attorney and partner at Collins Einhorn Farrell, PC in Southfield.

She represents employers across many industries in discrimination matters and has counseled clients on how to navigate the changing COVID-19 world.

She also serves on the firm's Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee where she leads policy and compliance efforts. One of her proudest achievements is mentoring new attorneys on ways to steer through the emotional, mental, spiritual and physical challenges of the legal profession.

Before joining the law firm, Aretha was the law clerk for Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Kathleen Jansen. She serves on the State Bar of Michigan's Lawyers and Judges Assistance Committee

She has served in numerous roles with the Oakland County Bar Association and is an alumnae member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She earned a bachelor's degree from Wayne State University and her law degree from Michigan State University's College of Law. She lives in Clawson.
