As the Chief Operations Officer for Marygrove Conservancy, Racheal Allen has helped transform the historic Marygrove campus into a thriving community hub for high-quality community uses

Among the new uses at the Detroit campus: a cradle to career educational experience as well as a small business and non-profit ecosystem for Black-led organizations and a year-long personal and professional development program for Black leaders.

Before joining Marygrove, Allen led the Downtown Detroit Ambassador Program, a cleaning and hospitality program located in Detroit's Business Improvement Zone that specializes in providing supportive employment for disadvantaged workers. She also served as the Senior Director of Operations & Finance for the EAA of Michigan.

Allen is a committee co-chair of Impact100 MetroDetroit, a graduate of Leadership Detroit, serves as Board Chair for the Diploma Equity Project and is a member of the Lighthouse of Michigan Board of directors.

She received a bachelor's degree from Marygrove College and lives in Farmington Hills with her husband and children.
