Director of Government Relations and Corporate Communications
Orlans PC
My life’s journey began in an orphanage in Communist Romania to the home of loving American parents has instilled a profound sense of gratitude and love of country few can understand. That is why I have spent my life committed to serving my community, family and country. As an immigrant I consider my opportunity to come to The United States the highest privilege.
The gift of a quality education prepared me for the incredible professional opportunities I have been afforded, and my commitment and investment to my local community is of the highest priority for me, as I have been given so much it is most fitting and proper to give back to those that I can support.
I am an experienced public policy and strategic communications professional who is defined by my ability and desire to work hard, build coalitions, develop strategic relationships and overcome adversity.
I have a proven track record of delivering results with quantifiable impact from working with Members of Congress and their staff, Members of various President’s Administrations, in the White House and at several Federal Departments
I served directly under Lt. Col. Oliver North as his Director of Legislative Affairs. I worked in support and in concert with some of our most brilliant leaders throughout Washington DC and the world.
During my responsibilities, I also provided advanced research, analysis and briefings to Members of The United States House and Senate on matters that related to National Security, Defense Intelligence, International Aide and Development, Terrorism and International Treaties. I have also been involved in extensive travel abroad, with a highlighted mission with an American Delegation to Uganda for the Review Conference on the International Criminal Court.
I also had the amazing opportunity to work to advance continued public policy support and action for our Veterans, Servicemembers and their families and caregivers. I spent years working to help raise awareness for expanded healthcare, education and job skill training for our Veterans, Servicemembers and their families and caregivers
I have extensive legislative and public policy experience concerning a wide range of policy issues including, but not limited to, national security, military, defense, veterans, foreign policy, terrorism, international relations, and treaties; domestic issues include energy, finance, banking and real estate.
The connection between domestic and foreign policy skill set is my ability to work with people, to understand their interest and concerns and connect them to why this issue is important and the long-term value that will be derived from adoption. This established relationship allows me to confront a policy matter, of any nature, and to showcase to the audience why the issue is important and the long-term value that will be derived from adoption.
In Metro Detroit, I have had the privilege to work for Linda and Alison Orlans, the Founders and Owners of the National Largest Certified Women Owned Law Firm, Orlans PC. I have been a part of the firms’ effort to merge their three like-minded law firms to create Orlans PC and have lead their marketing, branding and communications strategy and campaigns. I have also had the opportunity to maintain and expand the political legal and business relationships on behalf of the firm and have worked with elected officials, of both major parties, across the state to help expand our community and bring greater resources to Oakland County. At Orlans we have partnered with local organizations that empower Women Leaders, including Inforum Center for Leadership, as women’s advancement and empowerment is deeply personal to our firm and we have worked tirelessly to help aspiring business professionals, entrepreneurs and women leaders throughout the Metro Detroit region. I also manage our firm’s community and charitable efforts and relationships where we are dedicated to education, health and wellness for children and women here in our community. I have a legacy of work that has a meaningful and enduring impact in the public and private sector and my courage to do what is right and help those in need is a defining characteristic for me.
