Downtown Manager

Sean Kammer is the Downtown Manager for the Royal Oak Downtown Development Authority. He also serves as the board secretary of Main Street Pontiac as a resident volunteer. His past experience includes the Flint Mayor’s Office working on emergency response and relief initiatives, and as the Assistant City Administrator and DDA Executive Director for the City of Lathrup Village. He holds a BA in history from the University of Detroit Mercy, an MPA from Wayne State University with a focus on urban policy and a graduate certificate in economic development. Sean is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science at Wayne State University and has two kids, Conrad and Kennedy with his wife, Megan.
