Dr. Alexandra Williamson is an optometrist and local business owner who is beyond honored to be included in the Elite 40 class of 2018. After graduating from optometry school at Indiana University, she started in pediatric ophthalmology. She now owns and is lead optometrist of Michigan Eye and Contact Lens in Novi where services include pediatric optometry, orthokeratology, contact lenses and general eye care. She and her team focus on patients as individuals and are committed to bettering the community through compassionate business practices, volunteering and local community projects. Michigan Eye offers cutting edge contact lens services including impression-based scleral contact lenses and provides medically indicated contact lens services for adults and children. She strives to offer frames made by like-minded companies who share the company vision for a healthy Michigan. Alexandra is a fellow of the Contact Lens Society of America and a member of professional groups such as the Children's Vision Committee of the Michigan Optometric Association.
