Katherine M. Pacynski is a patent attorney at The Dobrusin Law Firm, P.C. in Pontiac and was recently named a shareholder at age 29 years. Her practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patent applications, with many clients involved in the automotive industry. Katherine is recording secretary of the Women’s Bar Association and serves on the board of directors for Art&Soul, a nonprofit that seeks to transform how we see foster children in need of adoption in Michigan. She is a member of the Michigan Intellectual Property Inn of Court. Before law school, Katherine graduated with honors with an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the University of Michigan where she was a member of the varsity cheerleading team. She attended Michigan State College of Law, serving as a managing editor of the Michigan State Law Review and graduating with high honors. She lives in Farmington Hills with my husband, Steve. They are expecting their first child in early March.
