Janelle Best is a Clarkston native executive director of the Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce. She graduated from Clarkston High School and has a bachelor's degree in fine art. She worked in business development at MeridianRx where she focused on growing the provider network by contracting and credentialing pharmacies all over the United States. Janelle began working at the Clarkston chamber in 2013 as the economic and workforce development coordinator. During her first year at the chamber she worked to increase the value of membership by providing educational workshops and training. She also focused strongly on economic development initiatives working closely with Main Street Oakland County and the county’s One Stop Shop Business Center for the Clarkston and Davisburg areas. In 2015 she accepted the position as chamber executive director.
