Partner and Vice President
Hubbell, Roth and Clark, Inc.

Roland was recently elected to the Board of Directors of Hubbell, Roth & Clark, Inc., a professional consulting engineering firm, as a full partner. As the designers of critical public infrastructure, HRC's board members put the welfare and safety of the public first. Roland has demonstrated this throughout his 10-year career, and as a result he was one of less than 40 people elected as a Partner/Owner in HRC's history.

Roland plays an important role in the planning, design and construction engineering of public and private infrastructure improvement projects valued up to $200 million throughout Oakland County and southeast Michigan. He helped design and administer construction of the $60 million Detroit International Bridge Company's Gateway, connecting a new four-lane ramp to the Ambassador Bridge. In 2010 Roland was named Michigan's Young Civil Engineer of the Year by the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Passionate about providing young professionals with the same opportunities he had, Roland is president of the Southeast Michigan Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Committee on Younger Members, which helps young engineers and college students transition from the academic environment to the professional world. As president he is responsible for the group's Scholarship Golf Outing and annual Civil Engineering Student Night at Lawrence Technological University.

The information presented here was accurate as of January 2014.
