Executive Director
Camp Casey

As a student at Michigan State University and a part-time horseback riding instructor, Molly met a young girl named Casey, who was battling cancer and shared a mutual love for horses. Inspired by Casey, Molly founded Camp Casey as a way to give pediatric cancer patients a break from their treatments cancer by bringing a horse literally to their door for a day of horseback riding. Molly is the camp's executive director.

Camp Casey's unique program reaches over 250 children (and their families) across Michigan. Participation is funded entirely by local sponsors and fundraising efforts, with three programs available: Cowboy Camp Outs (overnight mini-vacations at Michigan resorts), Horsey House Calls (Camp Casey takes their pony show on the road, bringing a horse to the child's doorstep for a two-hour visit), and Outlaw Outings (cost-free excursions across Michigan for participants to keep in touch with families year round).

Camp Casey has been featured on NBC's Today Show, and has been written about nationally in the Huffington Post, Horse Illustrated, and Chronicle of the Horse.

The information presented here was accurate as of January 2014.
