No Drinking Water Advisories in Effect for WRC Water Systems

Outdoor Water Restrictions Continue for Pontiac Customers Following GLWA Water Main Break

Post Date:05/11/2026 11:06 AM

The cities of Rochester Hills and Auburn Hills, along with Orion Township and the Village of Lake Orion have issued a boil water advisory due to a water main break involving the Great Lakes Water Authority. For more information about the boil water advisory:

Outdoor watering restrictions are now in effect for the City of Pontiac

Until the break is repaired, Pontiac residents are asked to avoid all outdoor water use. Increased water usage places additional strain on the water system, which can result in low water pressure for homes and businesses in neighboring communities. It can also reduce the amount of water available for firefighting purposes. Customers are asked to limit all nonessential outdoor water use.
