2026 - 2030 Consolidated Plan

Post Date:03/17/2026 5:39 PM

Every five years, Oakland County must prepare a strategic plan (known as the Consolidated Plan) which governs the use of federal housing and community development grant funds that it receives from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). When preparing a Consolidated Plan, grantees must assess the needs and issues in their jurisdictions as a part of their preparation of these documents.

The grant funds received from HUD by Oakland County that are covered in the Consolidated Plan include:

  • Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program
  • Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) Program
  • Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) Program
