Oakland County Tech Collaboration Adds 25 New Companies, Announces Industry Education Events

  • Twenty-five “Cornerstone” companies are joining five “Keystone” companies as the Oakland County Tech Collaboration expands to make the region a hub for innovation.
  • The newly added cornerstone companies span critical technology sectors, including research, design, and engineering, IT and computer services and robotics and advanced automation integration.
  • Registration is open for three upcoming OC Tech Collaboration events.

Pontiac, Mich. – The Oakland County Tech Collaboration is accelerating momentum in the region’s technology sector with the addition of 25 new tech companies to this growing public-private initiative and the scheduling of three upcoming high-profile industry events.

Joining the OC Tech Collaboration as “Cornerstone” companies are:

The expansion brings the total membership to 30 companies, uniting some of the county’s most influential technology employers to strengthen collaboration, attract talent and position Oakland County as a leading Midwest hub for innovation. They will collaborate with the initiative’s five established “Keystone” companies: HTC Global, RGBSI, JR Automation, OneStream and FANUC America.

The newly added cornerstone companies span critical technology sectors, including research, design, and engineering, IT and computer services and robotics and advanced automation integration. Together, the collaboration is focused on increasing connectivity among Oakland County tech companies, creating a strong, unified regional tech identity, strengthening the ecosystem to attract investment and high-skill talent and expanding partnerships between industry and colleges and universities

Upcoming OC Tech Collaboration Events:

  • Feb. 27: Edu2B (Education to Business) event at Oakland University, Rochester Hills, beginning at 9 a.m., connecting tech employers with higher education partners.
  • March 18: K2B (Keystone to Business) event hosted by FANUC America at its Rochester Hills headquarters, beginning at 9 a.m., bringing cornerstone companies together with established industry leaders.
  • Apr. 16: Edu2B event at Lawrence Technological University, Southfield, beginning at 8:30 a.m., connecting tech employers with higher education partners.
