Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, Oakland County, MichiganTUESDAY, APRIL 1, 2025

PONTIAC, Mich. - Oakland County Prosecutor KAREN D. McDONALD charged Darren Bradford, a 24-year-old resident of Berkley, with six additional counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Third Degree and one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Fourth Degree.

The defendant was charged last week with four counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Third Degree after he allegedly demanded sex in exchange for selling vape products to the teenage victim. He is also facing Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Third Degree charges in Wayne County. As in the original case, some of the victims in the new cases appear to have connected with the defendant on Snapchat, where he was known to provide vapes, marijuana, and alcohol to underaged teenagers.

“This defendant appears to be a serial predator who exploited teenagers too young to consent,” said Prosecutor McDonald. “I applaud the victims for coming forward. It’s never easy to do, but thanks to them this defendant won’t get a chance to abuse the next potential victim.”

Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Third Degree is punishable by up to 15 years in prison. Criminal Sexual Conduct in the Fourth Degree is punishable by up to two years in prison.

Charges are accusations and individuals are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
