Our office, in partnership with the Road Commission for Oakland County, will close Middlebelt Road (north of Nine Mile Road) to replace a 12-inch sanitary sewer, beginning September 3 to 20. The sewer replacement is intended to prevent potential sewer failures and will be coordinated with the Road Commission for Oakland County’s culvert project. Their work will begin September 23. Business access will be maintained throughout the closure. The detour for southbound traffic is east on Ten Mile Road, south on Inkster Road, west on Nine Mile Road and vice versa.
