DESCRIPTION:<p>The Oakland County Department of Economic Development is hosting this collaborative workshop to bring together residents, business owners, nonprofits, and community partners to co-create a vision for a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable visitor economy.</p><p>Come and help us answer questions like:</p><ul>    <li>How can we grow visibility for hometown events that we love?</li>    <li>How do we better connect our great outdoor experiences?</li>    <li>What’s the best way to market our communities authentically and effectively to various audiences (e.g., Metro Detroiters, Midwestern Explorers, International Visitors)?</li>    <li>How do we support the long-term coordination and funding needed to manage tourism here?</li></ul><p>This will not be a sit-and-listen session.
