Get ready for a ‘reel’ good time at the Fishing Derby! During this catch-and-release event, there will be prizes for the longest fish caught in each session. No fishing license is required as this event will be held during the DNR Free Fishing Weekend. The event will be held weather permitting. All ages and abilities are welcome. Adaptive fishing equipment will be available. Sessions will run from 9-9:45 a.m. for those 15 years old and younger and 10:15-11 a.m. for participants ages 16 and older. Sessions are limited to 20 participants each. Cost is $10/person. Preregistration is required by calling 248-858-0916 during business hours.
