DESCRIPTION:Healthy Oakland Partnership (HOP) will be hosting a training for Farmers Market managers, farmers, and residents who sell food products at farmers markets on Tuesday, March 5 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. at Waterford Oaks- Lookout Lodge. This training will focus on changes to the WIC Project FRESH program, what to expect during an MDARD inspection and Cottage Food Law updates (Cottage Foods are&nbsp;specific types of foods that are made in an at home kitchen of a single-family domestic residence. Examples include breads, baked goods, fruit jams and jellies, and dry baking mixes). The event is free, but registration is appreciated.
