Oakland County Parks, in partnership with Six Rivers Land Conservancy, is working on a revised grant application to acquire the 70-acre Turtle Woods property in Troy. The property is north of Square Lake, between John R. and Dequindre and will be operated as an Oakland County Nature Preserve. While we weren't successful with our 2023 application, we're making some exciting revisions and are optimistic about our chances for success in 2024.
