Join us for this open house event at the Oak Park Farmers Market located at Oak Park High School. Oakland County Parks and the City of Oak Park are partnering to revitalize and invest in Shepherd Park. The northern area of the park will continue to be owned by Oak Park but will now be operated and invested in by Oakland County. The northern 17 acres of Shepherd Park features approximately a quarter mile of paved walking paths around the perimeter, pavilions, grills with tables, playgrounds and a nature path. As the revitalization project gets under way, we want to hear from you about the items that are most important to you in a park.
We'll have staffed stations with maps of the facilities as well as information about their history of the park. Attendees can identify park amenities that are most important to them. If you can't join in person, please take our online survey
