DESCRIPTION:<h3>The history of Lyon Oaks offers several surprises!</h3><p>Celebrate the 60th anniversary of Oakland County Parks by joining Parks Historian Carol Bacak-Egbo for the new Trailside Chats Series to hear stories about the parks. Each session will be held in-person at a different location.&nbsp;</p><p>The first topic in the series will be "A Dead Cow, an Apple Orchard and a Town that Disappeared: Lyon Oaks and Beyond." It will be held from 7-8 p.m.&nbsp;Tuesday, April 28 at Lyon Oaks Event Center, 52251 Pontiac Trail in Wixom.
